It has been used in Asia for centuries. Part of the ginger family, it has really taken off in the last few years. Prices of this herb range from 50 cents to $60/pound. We are bullish on the health benefits of turmeric and we would like to share our findings:

Recipe 1: Turmeric Tea (Video)

1-turmeric and ginger tea wth lemon and coconut oil

1 cup water to 1 teaspoon of turmeric

3 tsp turmeric

2 tspginger

1 tsp black pepper

almond milk or occonut milk works too

 

Recipe 2: Chicken Breast Fillets

*Dash of salt, ½ tspand pepper, ¾ tsp turmeric, honey

*Seared on both sides about 4 minutes

*Add crushed almonds
